tripleJ hottest 100. top 10 Countdown

my radio is no where to be seen but i've been on Twitter all afternoon with TripleJ watching the hottest 100 countdown is tweets. So far only two of my songs have made it in the countdown.
#25. Gotye- Eyes Wide Open

so I thought whilst we're up to the top 10 count down i'd post the songs and rate whether they're decent and deserve to be in the top 10 songs of the year.
( i will mention that #11 Pendulums ABC news theme remix did not deserve to be anywhere near the top 10. The song is utter trash)

#10: Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. - Somebody To Love Me - there's no way I could say anything bad about Boy George & Mark Ronson. devine team. the beat is chill as & the song is catchy as fuck.

 #9: Art Vs. Science - Magic Fountain  - Clearly the bogans of Australia voted for this. Art Vs Science are talentless douche bags. i hate this song with a passion.

#8: The Wombats - Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)- Ahhhh the British band with an Aussie animal as their band name. I flipping love the Wobats they're extra cute, poppy makes you wanna bop your head side to side and smile ear to ear. a very deserving song.

#7: Cee Lo Green - Fuck You! strangely enough i thought the people would have voted this in at number one. Cee Lo's voice is so so amazing this song is catchy even with it's FUCK YOU stupid golddigger bitch tone.i'm stoked this is in the top 10.

#6: Adrian Lux - Teenage Crime- I never fell in love with this song. I can see why people do enjoy it. this song kinda soared right by me not really making a massive impact. it's not a bad song. i just don't love it.

#5: Boy & Bear - Fall At Your Feet- I adore Boy & Bear but saying this I dont think a cover song deserves to be in the top10. i know they've kinda made it their own I still think something more original could of come in at number 5. I dont think we should be going backwards in time with our top hits. Keep it fresh.

#4: Birds Of Tokyo - Plans -Im a closet Birds of Tokyo fan. this song is incredible. "we made plans to kiss the sun at night." this band is so tight. musically they sound perfect together. they aren't everyones cup of tea but i think they're most deserving of the top 10. def get onto the live CD by Birds Of this song is tingling, I enjoy a song that resonates.

#3: Ou Est Le Swimming Pool - Dance The Way I Feel- ahhh what a tragic end to this band near the end of last year. this song has great memories for me. mostly dancing in the kitchen at work. a bit of synth a great voice a heavenly combination. ohhhh they had sooo much potential. still i hope everyone just dances the way they feel.

#2: Little Red - Rock It- Yes! a Melbourne based band comes in number 2 in the countdown. our very own! ahhh little red are gorgeous i'm super glad this song is right up there. the people got this right. this song makes me wanna get up and dance (or sway) the cute piano loop clapppp your hands and jump around just like the video clip. embrace our Australian music as those who voted did.

#1: Angus And Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane- what a drainer of a song. there is nothing exciting or moving about this song. the only good thing about this song is how good looking angus stone is. if his good looks could create good music with a bit of bite to it we'd be set. instead we're stuck with with this dull melodramatic song. Australia I am so unimpressed with your taste in music. you've failed me. all i have now is ehhh ehhh ehhh ehhh stuck in my head by the dull voice of Angus. gahhh!!!  just because they practise incest** doesn't make them good. Angus & Julia Stone-D when they made this piece of garbage.


after all this i have decided that the majority of people that vote in the Hottest100 are uneducated bogans who lack any sort of diversity or knowledge of good music. I'm embarrassed that Angus and Julia came in at number one. where on earth were Best Coast & Wavves????

** Note: that to anyone that takes life too seriously this is clearly a joke, of course they don't practice incest. Clearly I only said it cause well you know Julia does dance a little to close and pose a bit too close to her brother than any other sibling relationship I've seen.
