Travel essentials

So it's been five weeks now of back packing around Europe and there's a few little tricks we've learnt along the away.
* Earplugs, eye masks are essential for a good night's sleep.
* bottom bunks are ideal, hang your towel from the top bunk, private little room & more darkness.
*Swiss army knives are your god, wine opener! Cut the Baguette and cheese. Scissors to alter clothes. Bottle open. Just don't pack them in the hand luggage.
*don't bother with the bus tours 20euro and they'll steal your soul.
*Learn how to use metros, everything connects somewhere along the lines. So much cheaper than the 20 euro bus tours.
*also learn to read a map, or even better print screen directions from goggle maps, makes everything so much easier.
*buy super glue fixes everything. Broken sunglasses, soles of shoes, rings. We've saved some mullah from the superr glue.
*Europe sun is not as strong as ours you can rock the 10 plus get a tan and not burn, it's a delight.
*learn to say no to things. If someone you don't know at the hostel wants You to Do something you dont feel like doing don't feel obliged to say yes.
*h&m is unreal for basics.
*book flights with easy jet weeks in advance and you'll score incredibly cheap flights.

& just to finish it off here's last night's sunset
